Verification Process

What happens after you submit a listing

1. Automated checks (instant) — photo format/size/quality gates (min 800×600, EXIF stripped), all four photo categories present, required fields complete, 2–5 nearby places set, contact number OTP-verified.
2. Duplicate screening (instant) — address similarity + perceptual photo fingerprints compared against existing listings in your city. Likely duplicates are flagged for the reviewer.
3. Human review (within 24 hours) — a reviewer checks photos against the description, pricing plausibility for the locality, and address consistency. Outcomes: approve, request information (you get the specific question), or reject (with reason).
4. Live + freshness tracking — approved listings appear in search with a verified badge. Availability must be re-confirmed periodically: reminder at 14 days, ranking penalty at 21, auto-unlist at 45.

What verification means — and doesn't

We verify the listing's integrity signals at review time. We do not conduct title searches or physical inspections — seekers should always visit and verify documents before paying (Safety).
