Intellectual Property Policy

Last updated: 14 July 2026 · Version 2
1. Your content
You retain ownership of photos, text and other content you upload. By uploading you grant Spacelinkers Infotech Private Limited a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable licence to host, store, reproduce, adapt (resizing, re-encoding, EXIF/metadata stripping, thumbnail and rendition generation), publish, display, and distribute that content for operating, improving, securing and promoting the Platform — including appearance in search results, SEO landing pages, structured data for search engines, and (with Marketing consent contexts respected) promotional material. The licence lasts while the content remains on the Platform, plus a reasonable period for backups, caches, and audit records.
You warrant you own or are licensed for everything you upload, including that photographs depict the actual property and that any identifiable persons consented. Uploading infringing content violates the Listing Rules and this policy.
2. Our property
The StayLocal name, logo and marks, the Platform software, UI design, ranking and duplicate-detection systems, database schema, and data compilations (including listing aggregations and the locality gazetteer) are the property of Spacelinkers or its licensors, protected under the Copyright Act, 1957, the Trade Marks Act, 1999, and applicable database/unfair-competition principles.
You may not: scrape, crawl, bulk-download, or mirror Platform data; frame or embed the Platform deceptively; use our marks in a way suggesting affiliation or endorsement; or build a competing dataset from our compilations. Permitted: lawful search-engine indexing per our robots.txt; linking to public pages; fair dealing as permitted by law.
3. Feedback
Suggestions you send us may be used without obligation or attribution.
4. Infringement complaints
If your work appears on StayLocal without permission, use the Copyright Infringement Policy. Trademark complaints: same channel, marked "Trademark", with registration particulars.
5. Repeat infringers
Accounts accumulating valid infringement findings are terminated per the repeat-offender policy in the Content Moderation Policy.
